the jean jacket

blue, bright, crisp.

You know you own one too. The jean jacket has been around for centuries. I still have my ralph lauren jean jacket circa 98, and I have not worn it since then. It is a pretty dark indigo blue yet just seems to be lacking something. A diy project is seriously calling its name which is why I can’t part ways with it! In the mean time I recently saw  this bleached one ~ in a perfect acid wash color. This color has been really gravitating towards me lately. Maybe it is because it is a little edgy, a tiny bit retro, but also~perhaps it really is just the color. The crisp color is so close to white… I’m seriously all about minimal these days.

remember the dress from my lbd+lace post ? Thought I’d pair it here. One dress can truly do 2+ completely diff looks.

  8. Yes of course we all do, own a jean jacket. Unfortunately for me I packed it away in some box, and can´t find it now, when I need it, several years later…
    Great post!

your hair looks SOO good, onni. Is your brazillian(?) & digital perm all grown out.. or are you straightening it everyday? so long and gorge! i do love the jacket and hi-low dress ;) oh wait, i also am into the twotone manicure these days. love it!

hi sweetie!! How are you doing? Awe thank you for the compliments:) I actually stopped doing ANY kind of “perming” to my hair a looong time ago. Too much damage and constant upkeep which would only end up causing more damage. oh! don’t use straightening irons either!! (if you can help it) imo, they RUIN your hair even just with ONE use. I always shower at night, and just blow-dry my hair with a fat flatbrush to keep it straight. I think sleeping on it on a silk pillow de frizzes, and makes it nice and shiny! =) I have been switching up the hair to waves (by also showering at night)- http://www.thehautecookie.com/diy-beachy-hair/
which looks just like any kind of digital perm- just looser looking. =)
