This amazing dress is a current springtime fave.

Do you like it as much as I do?  I wore it for a recent event I recently attended.

I was invited to support at an amazing event hosted by the Naked Grape in collaboration with Clothes for Souls.

You might recognize my gorgeous friend Dawn Neufeld

from the tv show Football Wives. This woman is not only an amazing friend, she’s also a mom, attorney, pageant queen, actress, & host. Naked Grape joined forces with Clothes4Souls, (a global not-for-profit that has donated approximately 1.8 million pieces of clothing to people around the world) in a campaign to give back through the Peel It Off to Give Back program. This program  provides gently loved clothing to people in need! The goal of the Sip and Swap event was to raise awareness and collect donations for Clothes4Souls.

It was a successful event, and I met so many amazing kind souls. Together we shared a night full of good drinks!

I had a great time meeting you ladies! Thank you for inviting me Dawn!

back to the dress~ some outfit shots before heading out

So, I have a loooove  affair w/ Zara 😉  So many of their pieces are SO me, & their monochromatic/minimal pieces seem to always scream at me! I just can’t stay away no matter how hard I try, and have so many friends that have the same problem. Do you too? 😉 Seriously, I love the fact that if I have an event to go to, I KNOW that I can quickly go and always find the most perfect disposable outfit/ dress. Truth be told though~ I seem to end up wearing a lot of their things more than once. I def know it has to be because of the quality and craftsmanship of their pieces. This dress was no exception. It was love at first sight glance.  Just looking at the cuts I knew how much movement there would be, and the slinky silk so buttery smooth and soft kept slipping through my fingers.   Don’t get me started about the vibrant color. It’s actually a brighter yellow in real life- so pretty. I knew exactly how I was going to wear this gorgeous yellow dress. A bold bag, and bold shoes. It could have easily been paired with all neutrals- a neutral heels and a small beige clutch, but i like bold and drama is me.

love the movement of the large bell sleeves

simple, classy, and spring ready.
