gluten free spicy seafood pasta

Hello friends! Many of you follow me on social media which is why I have been so busy there and not here. I have been neglecting this precious space a bit this holiday season- things have been so busy. I am so sorry! Thank you so much for following me on facebook and instagram and snapchat @thehautecookie ! MANY MANY of you that follow me on in on instastories and snapchat have seen me make this recipe various times for various people but I never took the time to write out a full recipe. So many constant requests for this recipe so here IT FINALLY IS! It’s another sooae recipe- and for you long time followers you know what that means. Any recipe on the haute cookie is easy, to the point, simple, but impresses guests so much! Here you go, enjoy!

1 package gluten free pasta serves 4-5 people

2 cups olive oil

1 heaping tablespoon minced garlic

italian seasoning

crushed red chili pepper seeds

sun dried tomatoes

3 lbs raw Argentine shrimp (your fave will work also)

2 lbs scallops

2 cups of white or black mussels

dried basil

boil your gluten free pasta al dente, for about 8 mins then set aside in a drainer. DO NOT rinse the noodles. The starch on them helps the sauce very much!

rinse your shrimp then add them

your scallops and mussels

all to a nice deep non stick pot with the olive oil and garlic. Make sure that the olive oil is nicely heated before you put the seafood in. This is your sauce. On low heat add 3 tablespoons of italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon or crushed red peppers, 6 thinly sliced sundried tomatoes, and about 2 teaspoons of salt. Everyone has a different preference in flavor so I would add one-two teaspoon of salt, and then keep adding as much as you want as you taste to get it perfect for your family. I also add a little black pepper and then at the very end throw in a couple tablespoons of dried basil.

when the seafood is cooked- add the un rinsed noodles all in the pot and stir everything up!

I use the remainder of the sauce for dipping sauce to go with the bread.

Cheers to another easy recipe that is so easy, but impresses your guests.

bon appetit!
