bread ever.

Hello friends! Hope you are all staying warm in this cold weather! The best feeling in the world for me (eps when it is cold outside) is baking something utterly delicious. It’s not only because I get to devour the baked goods. The smell and aroma of bread or cookies permeates through your home, immediately making your house feel warmer and cozy. That sweet smell of something delicious-staying all day long! Love! I have made many banana bread recipes and this one my far is the best I have ever made- trust me. The recipe is so moist and and incredibly rich. Recipe adapted from Shelley Albeluhn !

1 cup of walnuts

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 eggs, beaten

2 large overripe bananas

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

Best when enjoyed warm, right out of the oven 😉
